Equipping Leaders – Accelerating the Spread of the Gospel Among the Unreached

Storyline is identifying key leaders who live in close cultural or geographic proximity to the most unreached nations on earth. We are training and equipping them to be leaders in the Great Commission.

We believe this is the most effective strategy in world missions today.

THE CONTEXT

The last 30 years has experienced a seismic ground shift in the makeup of the worldwide church. The explosive growth of the church outside of western nations also means that missionaries are increasingly coming from outside the west.

Today, most of the church resides outside of the western world. Mission thinkers  estimate that the American church now comprises only 10% of the global church! The implications of this in regard to mission sending are enormous. Western Christians have a tremendous opportunity to embrace this new paradigm and adopt an empowering posture for mobilizing and equipping this emerging missionary force.

A GLOBAL MISSION MOVEMENT IS ACCELERATING

In our day, we are witnessing the greatest non-western mission’s movement in history. What were once considered the missionary fields of the west are now producing a powerful mission force. And with this change, new strategies are emerging. Preeminent among them is the priority to train leaders.

FRONTIER MOBILIZATION

This unique and potent strategy is what we refer to as: Frontier Mobilization. Everywhere we travel in the world, whether it is Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America or Europe, national believers are asking the western church not to replace or supplant their work, but to come alongside them as partners. Storyline is answering this call.

EMPOWERING INSTEAD OF REPLACING

We are empowering, not replacing national leaders to reach the unreached on their borders and beyond.

FULFILLING THE GREAT COMMISSION BY MOBILIZING THE GLOBAL CHURCH

OUR VISION

We are committed to partnering internationally with churches, denominations, and mission leaders to accelerate missionary sending. We believe the majority of new missionaries will come from Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America. These missionaries, who have unique passport access, will be sent to the least reached peoples in the world in North Africa, Middle East, and Central Asia.
