Dear Friends and Partners in Ministry,
2017 was an incredible year for Storyline! Here are a few highlights:
- Storyline training grew from a presence in 3 countries to 20 in 12 months
- 3,500 distributions and sales of The Storyline Study: our tool for a practical mission education in local churches
- Our Latin American partnership yielded more than 150 decisions for missionary service
- A decision was made by a Mongolian church to plant a church in Siberia among Mongol expats
- $20,000 was raised to assist our partners in the Caribbean in their disaster recovery efforts
Warry Nunez, leader of Movida International had the following to say about their partnership with Storyline:
“We are so grateful for the ministry of Storyline. Finally, a high quality mission training we can use at all of our conferences. We are excited to partner with Storyline in mobilizing the Latin American world for missions among the unreached! For us, Storyline is going to be used in every country and at every conference!”
We have been experiencing some exciting growth this year. Even now, as I write this letter, Kirby Holmes, our East European Director is in Moscow attending the largest mission conference on the continent with over 1,000 pastors, missionaries, and Christian workers. In the coming year, we will be expanding our ministry of raising up missionaries and workers from Latin America and Europe. Movida, our Latin American partner organization, has asked us to train all of their top-level leaders in March as well as 50 missionaries who are headed to Spain and Croatia during the summer. Great days are ahead in 2018!!
As we prepare for 2018 we are also forecasting our financial needs. Currently we are raising $65,000 for the needs of expansion across all of our partnerships and projects in Europe and Latin America. It’s a big vision, but we are more convinced than ever that the gospel must go out to every corner of the earth. For this to happen, workers must be raised up. As you consider your giving this year, would you kindly and prayerfully consider Storyline’s work around the world?
