29 Sep Storyline Releases Paul: To the Ends of the Earth, a Free Bible Game on Acts 13–14
AUSTIN, Texas, September 29, 2026. Storyline Missions today released Paul: To the Ends of the Earth, a free Bible game that takes players through Paul’s first missionary journey in Acts 13 and 14. The game plays in any web browser, on a phone or a computer, at paul.storylinemissions.org. The journey through Cyprus is free, and the rest of the journey, from Perga to Derbe and home to Antioch, is $1.99.
Players don’t play as Paul. They travel with him, as a member of the church at Antioch who is sent out alongside Paul and Barnabas. Along the way they read Scripture, hear it narrated, make choices on the road, and watch the route take shape on a map of the first-century world.

A Bible game built on Acts 13 and 14
Most people know Paul from his letters. Fewer know the road that came before them, the road that made him the model for every Christian who helps send others. Paul: To the Ends of the Earth puts players on that road.
The game follows the journey in the order Luke tells it. It starts in Antioch in Syria and goes down to Seleucia, across the sea to Cyprus, through Salamis and Paphos, and on to Perga. From there it climbs to Pisidian Antioch, then Iconium, Lystra and Derbe, before the long trip home to the church that sent them.
Every scene comes from the text. The Scripture is the World English Bible, and each passage is narrated, so players can read along or simply listen. Nothing is added to the story that Acts doesn’t say.

How the game works
The game is simple to start and easy to come back to. Here is what players do along the way:
- Read and hear Scripture. Each stop opens with the passage from Acts, with narrated audio.
- Make choices on the road. Decide how to respond to the people and situations you meet.
- Answer questions on what Acts says. Short questions check what you read, so the story sticks.
- Manage your drachma and your team’s strength. The road is long, and resources matter.
- Earn 11 badges. Mark each part of the journey as you complete it.
- Watch the map fill in. The route is drawn city by city as you travel.

The moments players will remember
Acts 13 and 14 are full of drama, and the game lets players stand close to it.
On Cyprus, the proconsul Sergius Paulus wants to hear the word of God, and the sorcerer Elymas tries to turn him away from the faith. Paul confronts him, and Elymas is struck blind “for a season” (Acts 13:11). The proconsul believes.

At Perga, John Mark leaves the team and returns to Jerusalem (Acts 13:13). In Pisidian Antioch, Paul preaches in the synagogue, and the message spreads through the whole region before opposition drives the team out. At Lystra, a man lame from birth is healed, and the crowd decides the gods have come down. They call Barnabas Zeus and Paul Hermes, and Paul and Barnabas have to stop them from offering sacrifices (Acts 14:8-18).

Then the mood turns. Opponents arrive from Antioch and Iconium, the crowd stones Paul, and they drag him out of the city, supposing he is dead. When the disciples gather around him, Paul gets up and goes back into the city (Acts 14:19-20). The next day he and Barnabas leave for Derbe.
Why a game about a sending church
The title comes from Acts 13:47, where Paul and Barnabas quote Isaiah: “I have set you as a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.”
That line is the heart of what Storyline does. The first missionary journey didn’t start with a mission agency. It started with a local church in Antioch that listened to the Holy Spirit and sent two of its best leaders (Acts 13:1-3). When the journey was over, they came home and reported to that same church “all the things that God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith to the nations” (Acts 14:27).
Storyline exists to help churches around the world become sending churches like Antioch. We train leaders who live close to the least-reached, so the gospel moves across borders and languages the way it did in Acts. This game is one more way to help people see themselves in that story.
“I made this game so families, students and small groups can get a sense of what it might have been like to shadow Paul on this journey. Ultimately, I hope it gets them excited about missions and asking what it would look like for their own church to send this way.” (Mike Krieg, Founder and Executive Director, Storyline Missions)
Who the game is for
- Families who want to read the Bible together in a way kids will ask to come back to. Pair it with our free Bible reading plan.
- Youth groups and small groups studying Acts, or looking for a starting point for a conversation about missions. Our gospel conversation starters are a good follow-up.
- Homeschool families and Christian schools looking for a Scripture-based way to teach the book of Acts.
- Anyone who has read Paul’s letters and wants to understand the journey behind them.
For groups that want to go further, the Storyline Study is an 8-week study on God’s mission from Genesis to Revelation. Our article on missions in the Bible is a good next read too, and you can find the game alongside our studies in the Storyline Store.
